The Rocky Mountain Horse: One Horse For All OccasionsThe Rocky Mountain Horse Association (RMHA) is a non-profit corporation (501 C) committed to preserving the natural characteristic and abilities of the Rocky Mountain Horse. The RMHA members are the voice of the association and the Rocky Mountain Horse breed.
Join the many Rocky Mountain Horse enthusiasts as a member of the RMHA. Membership can be as a single, family, junior, or legal entity membership. Dues are annually with Life Time Membership available as well.
The following are some of the benefits of becoming a member of the RMHA:
- RMHA members exercise their rights by electing RMHA Officers and Board Members as well as by serving as RMHA Officers, Board Members, and/or committee members.
- Access to “Members Only” section of the Rocky Mountain Horse website which contains the Board meeting minutes, the Breed Pedigree Database, the full on line versions of the Rocky Mountain Horse Magazine, historical photographs, membership survey.
- Free subscription to The RMHA Magazine featuring articles and information on the Rocky Mountain Horse and the Association, Breeder’s Directory, member’s stories. The magazine is an avenue to advertise your farm and horses.
- Reduced fees for horse registration and certification for members of the RMHA.
- Participate in the RMHA Trail Miles Program and KBIF Judged Trail Program. Both of these programs have their own recognition programs.
- Participate in the RMHA sanctioned show circuit and recognition in the high point awards program. This gives you the opportunity to exhibit and showcase your Rocky Mountain Horse according to the rules and regulations of the RMHA.
