RMHA Expo at Ohio Equine Affaire
RMHA Expo at Ohio Equine Affaire
Feb 11th, 10
RMHA will hold an Exhibitor Booth at the Ohio Expo Equine Affaire 2010 in Columbus,
Dennie Begley, Tracy Berkey and Paulette Klein volunteered to act as Project Officers for the Expo and coordinate the booth requirements as well as the breed demonstration.
The demo will last approximately 15 minutes. During the demo, we’ll have a script describing the Rocky Mountain Horse® and its wonderful characteristics. The demo may have as few as 6 riders or as many as 12. Members who want to participate should identify the horse they intend to use and contact Paulette Klein as soon as possible. As coordinator, she will have numerous guidelines to follow and deadlines to meet.
After selection, participants will receive:
1. A Breed Demo Participant Information Letter
2. Horse Requirements and Stall Reservation Form
3. Youth Rider Application (for riders under the age of 18)
4. Rules & Regulations Pertaining to Horses at Equine Affaire
5. Statement of Responsibility and Hold Harmless Agreement
6. Waiver & Release of Reliability
It is worth noting that all participants in the breed demo will receive an envelope containing two single day admission tickets per horse and a 24 hour stall.
In addition, if you do not want to be in the breed demo but would like to assist with the booth, we would very much appreciate your assistance. If you are coming from a distance, let Paulette know as soon as possible since motel/hotel space is at a premium. We anticipate at least two people in the booth at all times. Booth time is 3 hours per ‘shift’.
