Rocky Mountain Rated Trail Ride Clinic - Clinic is FULL

We think spring is coming and so is our Rated Trail Ride Clinic, the 2010 season is being directed by Jan Culp and O’Neill Lawrence.  This March 28, 2010 The RMRTP clinic will be held at Western Kentucky Universities L.D. Brown Ag Exhibition Center  in Bowling Green Kentucky, directions may be found on the Internet at http://www.wku.edu/agexpocenter/.  If you would like to learn more about the Rated Trail Ride Program please come  everyone is welcome.  We have unlimited space for observers but the first 30 horse and rider partners will fill the clinic. 

This clinic is one day and will start at 10:00 am Central Time.  We will have three instructors and over thirty obstacles to practice on.  The emphasis will be on opening gates from horseback and how to cue your horse to back in a straight line.  Lunch will be provided.   The cost of the clinic is $50.00 per person.  Juveniles are free but must be accompanied by at least one parent or legal guardian.  

Please pre-register in advance by sending a email to culpfarm@gmail.com.  This clinic is open to all Rocky Mountain Horse Association members, non-members must contact Jan Culp 270-777-3307 or O’Neill Lawrence at 270-999-4485.  Stalls are available but only with preregistration, the cost is $15 a stall.

We will be discussing the upcoming Rocky Mountain Rated Trail Program for the 2010 season.  Locations of rides, rules, list of obstacles and answering of questions will all be discussed at lunch.    Our judges will be training at this clinic so you will be able to meet them and ask questions before the season begins.
