Trail Pleasure Program

Spring 2010

Combined mileage from all members of the Trail Program is approaching 150,000 miles.

Wecome to new members:  Esther Vance, Colt McGuire, Alice Zynda, Diana Altizer, Tracy Wall, Darlene Lewandowski and Carrie Ann Snedden.

Happy summer trails to all and be sure to send in your mileage logs.

Other members enjoy reading about your experiences, so be sure and submit your story and photo to Andrea Kirkpatrick at havenhill@zoomnet.net when you pass the 1,000 mile mark.

Check the rules for any changes that have been made. Mileage completed at competitive trail or endurance riding competition does now count, as well as practice and conditioning miles for these events. Miles completed in the Rocky Mountain Rated Trail Program are also eligible to be counted.
 

Tobe Award

Lady “Ashley’s Harley D”, lovingly referred to by her owner and Trail Rider, Cindy Pravda, as “Harley” is the first Rocky Mountain Horse to log over 5,000 miles and qualify for the Tobe Award. For all of you Trail Riders, be sure to send your log sheets in by each horse ridden so your horse can be honored with the Tobe Award when reaching 5,000 miles.
