Sign up by February 22, 2012

 

Starts at 9:00 am Central Time

Clinic will be held regardless of weather.

All Youth are welcome to attend.

Each youth may bring one horse, not required.

If you bring a horse, you must have a current Coggins and Health Certificate.

Up to 8 stalls are available for overnight stabling.  Available on a first come basis.

There are plug ins available for your trailer at the DeWeese barn or a discounted room rate is available at the Comfort Inn in Franklin.  Please contact Penny at penny1435@aol.comto arrange hook ups, stabling or discounted room rates.

Must sign Liability Waiver form.

Weather permitting, a trail ride will take place on Sunday, March 4, time to be determined.

So far this year we have enjoyed a rated trail clinic practicing obstacles, and a youth clinic covering everything from basic horsemanship, to barrels, poles, and dressage!

Following are a few photos from the 2010 RMH Youth Round-Up held at Stoner Ridge Farm May 22, 2010.  It was a great day of learning that was enjoyed by all.


    















NEW Youth Awards program
with four award levels. You can earn points through riding, fundraising, breed promotion and much more!  There are two age divisions: 11 and under and ages 12 to 17.  You must earn your points from a variety of activities.  You will find a list of the activities that qualify for points and a log sheet to track your points here under the Youth Awards Program.  There will be awards for each level achieved, so print your log sheet and start recording your points for Level 1 today!  If you still have questions or need help with anything, please let us know.

RMHA Youth Scholarship Program

Announcing a new youth program:  The  RMHA Youth Scholarship Program

Monetary donations of any amount are welcome and greatly appreciated.  All donations should be made out to the RMHA Youth Scholarship Program.  Mail this check along with a note to the RMHA Headquarters, 4037 Iron Works Parkway, Suite 160, Lexington, KY  40511.


If you would like to honor someone or even that special horse with a donation of at least $500 to the RMHA Youth Scholarship, contact Angela Jaggers, Youth Committee Chair at marcumvalley@windstream.net or RMHA Executive Director at execdir7@rmhorse.com for details.

Youth Division of the RMHA Trail Pleasure Program

RMHA Youth, age 17 and under, can now enroll for a fee of $20 with annual renewal of only $20.00.  For details on the RMHA Trail Pleasure Program, please go to the Trail Pleasure Section of the website.
