RMHA Versatile Horse and Rider Awards Program
\nRHMA Versatile Horse of the Year Award<\/h3>\n

The RMHA Versatility Program<\/strong>\u00a0is designed to recognize the Rocky Mountain Horse for its many skills and attributes.\u00a0\u00a0Horses will acquire points based on performances, demonstrations, trail rides, shows, etc. The points will follow the horse regardless of owner or handler. Certificates will be given at the year-end awards banquet for Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels of accomplishment dependent upon the number of points the horse has acquired.\u00a0\u00a0While the RMHA Versatile Horse of the Year Award is for one year only a\u00a0Calendar year consists of November 1st<\/sup>\u00a0to October 31st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Owners\/Agents must submit appropriate forms and documentation (see links<\/strong> at bottom of this page<\/strong>) to the RMHA General Manager by November 30 \u00a0<\/sup>each year in order for points to be tabulated before the banquet.\u00a0\u00a0Late submissions cannot be considered for the current\u00a0year.\u00a0\u00a0The horse with the highest total of points for the year will be recognized as the\u00a0RMHA Versatile Horse of the Year.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

A demonstration or performance is made in a public venue with at least 25 people present.\u00a0\u00a0Documentation is required in the form of photographs, show bills, ride organizer signed letter, etc.\u00a0\u00a0In the event there is a question about documentation or an event not listed in the group of venues below, the Versatility Committee will review the information submitted and make a decision.\u00a0\u00a0Should there continue to be a question, the RMHA Board of Directors will make the final ruling.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0No more than 5 scores will be accepted for each venue.\u00a0 <\/strong>Each application must also have at least 5 different venues represented.\u00a0 \u00a0For weanlings-2 year olds only 3 venues are required.\u00a0 While some events are simply based on participation,<\/strong> others may be judged competitions.<\/p>\n
