Whether you are a horse owner, or just have an interest or curiosity about horses, this is a terrific opportunity to meet and see a wonderful cross section of horses that make up the Rocky Mountain Horse breed.
In accordance with the Rules of the Rocky Mountain Horse Association (p. 27-28, Section 6.4 C Supplemental), the following judges have contracts to judge the Rocky Mountain International Grand Championship Horse Show September 4-7, 2024 to be held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.
Five Judge Panel
Carol Camp, Eagleville, TN
Jennifer Lambert, South Shore, KY
Josh Murdock, Prestonsburg, KY
Keith Dane-Kailua Kona, HI
Diane Sept-Sutton, Valley, WA
Equipment/Trail Obstacle Steward (and Alternate)
Barry Manning, Jeffersonville, KY
The scoring for the 5-judge panel will be as follows: The placings having points. 1st is worth 10 points, 2nd is worth 9 points all the way to 10th place. Based on the placing you get x number of points. They are all summed together from the 5 judges. Then the highest placing number of points is subtracted. If there is 5 placings then the lowest placing is subtracted. If 4 or less placed a horse then the low is not subtracted. That is the first ordering. If you have horses tied at this point then it goes to the full sum of the placing points. If still tied the tie is broken by the call judges placing points.
