We hope you have all enjoyed the latest edition of the RMHA Magazine! We understand there were some issues regarding the magazine delivery to our membership, and we apologize for the delay. USPS is responsible for the delivery and while some members received their magazine promptly, others were either delayed or not delivered at all. Unfortunately, the RMHA has no control over the USPS. We would like to remind you that you can always find the latest edition of the RMHA Magazine on the website. HOW IT WORKS
The Publications Committee is already busy preparing for the Summer/Fall edition, and we would like to share some important factors and the process with you. The RMHA magazine is contracted with Connections Advertising for compilation and delivery to the printer. Publications supplies Connections with all editorial content that is both required and articles for reading pleasure. The number of editorial pages in the magazine is directly related to the number of ads Connections sells. Every ad sold equals one page of editorial at no cost to the RMHA. We appreciate everyone who advertises in the magazine and makes the editorial content possible.
PREMIERE PAGE AUCTION
Some of you may wonder why we have an auction for the Premiere Pages in the magazine. There are two reasons we auction these pages – one is fairness, and the other is an effort to grow the magazine. The auction allows for everyone to have a chance to bid the Premiere Pages so that not one member or the other is given any preference in receiving the most predominant pages. All the pages have a starting bid amount (reserve), the reserve amount is required to pay to Connections Advertising for that page. Any additional monies made over the reserve amount are used to mitigate the cost necessary to contract, produce and ship the magazine.
32Auctions
We are hosting the auction on a new platform called 32Auctions. The auction will open on June 25th 8:00 am, EST and will close July 1,2022 at 10:00 PM, EST. We have migrated the auction to 32Auctions to make the auction more accessible and to allow for an extended auction timeline. Click the link below and follow instructions 1-4 to setup your account.
