03 Feb Mia Horton. Winner of the 2022 Bill Corey Youth Scholarship

 Congratulations Mia Horton on being selected the 2022 Bill Corey Youth Scholarship winner!

Mia has been riding since she was nine years old.  Horses have helped her get through some tough times in her life.  Dana Pugh, who Mia says has been her biggest influence, has pushed her to be the best she can be.

Mia is currently enrolled in school and attending Big Sandy Community and Tech College.  She plans to be a Dental Hygienist in the future and plans to pay it forward by helping other youth riders.  As winner, Mia will receive a scholarship payment of $500.00.

This scholarship was created to honor Bill and honor his legacy of supporting the youth. Bill Corey was an avid supporter of the mountain horse shows, associations, and youth.
