It is with great sadness that the Rocky Mountain Horse Association shares the news that Barney Roger Northcote, 79, of Arroyo Grande passed away on September 27, 2021.

“Barney went to be with Jesus Monday morning, September 27th, about 6:15 AM. Family members were with him when he passed. Barney was a man of strong faith, and knew he would be in God’s hands. Gloria is grateful that his passing was peaceful. She appreciates all her friends and family but for now needs to get through the days ahead with her family by her side.”

The RMHA was privileged to have Barney’s wife Gloria with us at the International to present the Northcote Trail Mileage Award.  We offer the family our deepest sympathy and prayers.
